At this age, students will be exploring
contemporary drama, as well as Shakespeare,
improvisation - verse & prose - musical
theatre and the appreciation and importance
of art in our cultures. Students will have a
working knowledge of stage directions and the essentials of
producing original pieces of performance work.
Each course is ten weeks long and run
four times a year.
All SoDA courses lead to LAMDA examinations
and each student is expected to perform one
exam.
Students will have opportunities to perform
theatre pieces or plays for the community.
